Full-day coverage approached as a personal archive — getting ready, ceremony, portraits, and reception, captured with cinematic care.

Black Forest Photography is a small, considered studio. Each project is approached slowly — from the first note to the final gallery — with a preference for natural light, soft shadow, and moments that feel true.

I photograph the way I like to be photographed — softly, patiently, and with room to breathe. My work leans dark and moody, but it's built on warmth: the way someone looks at their person, the way a child folds into a parent, the last of the light before it goes.
I keep a small calendar each year so every couple, family, and client gets my full attention. If that sounds like the kind of experience you're looking for, I'd love to hear from you.

Quiet, unhurried sessions for engagements, elopements, and anniversary portraits — always on-location, always in beautiful light.
Documentary-leaning sessions built around the way your people actually are with each other. Made to feel like your family, not a pose.
Editorial senior portraits with intention — a session that captures who they are right now, not just what they look like.
Soft, moody portraits for the last quiet season before everything changes. Simple styling, considered light.
